Civilian Casualties in Gaza are Bringing Condemnation on Israel - Just as Hamas Planned All Along

I think that all along Hamas has planned for Israel responding with total force against the Hamas October 7 attack. And since Hamas was totally dug in all around and under a very populated Gaza Strip, they knew that Israel’s counter-attack, would kill many Gaza civilians that Hamas was hiding behind. Some would argue that was exactly what Hamas wanted, was lots of civilian casualties to blame Israel for in the court of public opinion. Hamas, who is the entity who reports the casualties, and whose reporting is never questioned by the media, has no reason not to exaggerate casualties. To say Hamas has successfully orchestrated the condemnation of Israel for the supposedly excessive civilian casualties would be a gross understatement. Even Israel’s greatest ally the USA, has been taken in by Hamas, as we see the Biden administration, who now is refusing to send congressionally approved ammunition supplies to Israel because of the fear of civilian casualties in Israel’s coming ground operation in Rafah. I’m sure Israel is now wondering if the USA is gearing up to totally stop defending Israel? And why would the Biden administration do that? There doesn’t seem to be any legitimate reason to back Hamas instead of Israel, unless maybe there is a very shallow political reason, such as Biden gaining support from anti-Semitic youth and not losing Michigan in the November election. I suspect the expected Rafah invasion by Israel will begin soon, and then we shall see what happens next. Doug
